Apple has announced 11 new products in 2026 so far, with more coming soon

Apple has announced 11 new hardware products in 2026 to date, with a major event still scheduled for September. The company has released the new AirTag 2 in January, followed by a busy March launch that included eight items, and added two major Mac updates in August. A surprise event on September 9 is expected to unveil the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, the first foldable iPhone, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5.
The first new product of the year was the second‑generation AirTag, announced on January 26. It incorporates Apple’s new Ultra Wideband chip, which extends Precision Finding range by up to 50 percent and improves Bluetooth connectivity. The device also features a louder speaker and can be tracked from compatible Apple Watch models. Pricing remains unchanged at $29 for a single tag or $99 for a four‑pack, while Amazon sells the same bundles for $24 and $79.99.
March became the most prolific month for Apple’s hardware announcements. The month opened with the iPhone 17e, priced at $599. The model doubles the base storage to 256 GB, adds the A19 silicon, a C1X modem, MagSafe, and introduces a soft pink color option. On March 2, Apple announced the M4 iPad Air in both 11‑inch and 13‑inch configurations. The new tablets receive 12 GB of memory, the C1X cellular modem, and the N1 wireless chip.
The following day, March 3, Apple unveiled a slate of four products: the M5 MacBook Air, the M5 Pro and M5 Max MacBook Pro, an updated Studio Display, and the new Studio Display XDR. The MacBook Neo followed on March 4; the $699 laptop uses the A18 Pro chip and becomes Apple’s most affordable Mac notebook. On March 16, Apple released the AirPods Max 2. Powered by the H2 chip, the new headphones feature improved noise cancellation, Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, Live Translation, and other advanced audio functions.
Apple’s latest hardware announcements came on August 25. The updated Mac mini is available with either the new M6 chip or the M5 Pro. Both configurations include faster storage, Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth 6, and a standard 2.5 Gb Ethernet port. Pricing starts at $899. Apple also introduced a new Mac Studio powered by the M5 Max or M5 Ultra, with the top‑end configuration supporting up to 512 GB of unified memory. Both Macs are available for pre‑order and will begin shipping on September 22.
The company’s September 9 event, branded “Surprise and Shine,” is expected to reveal several flagship products. Reporters anticipate the launch of the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Apple’s first foldable iPhone, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4, and AirPods 5. The event will likely include updates to software and services, but Apple has not disclosed any additional details.
In total, Apple has introduced 11 hardware products in 2026 so far. The company’s strategy of staggered releases and surprise events keeps the brand in the spotlight and maintains consumer interest. Industry analysts note that the company’s focus on incremental silicon upgrades—such as the transition from the A19 to the A18 Pro in the MacBook Neo—continues to drive performance gains while keeping price points competitive. Apple’s continued emphasis on ecosystem integration, seen in the AirTag 2’s expanded Precision Finding and the AirPods Max 2’s advanced audio features, reinforces its position as a leader in consumer electronics.
For consumers and investors alike, the upcoming September event will be a key indicator of Apple’s direction for 2026 and beyond. The company’s track record of delivering new hardware on a regular cadence suggests that additional releases may follow the surprise event, potentially expanding the product line into new categories or enhancing existing offerings.
