Apple Card keeps getting better, here’s everything new

Apple Card continues to evolve with new features and benefits as it marks seven years since its launch. Apple, in partnership with Goldman Sachs and soon Chase, has introduced recurring payment tracking, travel perks with Booking.com, and web access for savings accounts.
A notable addition is the new "Recurring" feature in the Wallet app for Apple Card users running iOS 27. This tool, available to public beta testers and developers, allows users to track upcoming recurring transactions through a list or monthly calendar view. Expected to roll out widely next month, it simplifies financial planning by providing clear visibility into scheduled payments.
Frequent travelers can now benefit from a partnership between Apple Card and Booking.com. Users receive "Genius Level 2" status after just one stay or car rental, unlocking perks such as 10-15% discounts, free breakfast, and room upgrades. Additionally, all transactions made on Booking.com through Apple Card earn 3% Daily Cash rewards. This follows Apple’s earlier collaboration with Hertz, which offers 3% Daily Cash on rental bookings through the car rental company.
Addressing long-standing criticism about Apple Card’s reliance on iPhone-based management, Apple has expanded web access for its Apple Card Savings Account. Users can now view and manage their savings directly through a web browser, enhancing convenience and accessibility.
The most significant upcoming change is Apple Card’s transition from Goldman Sachs to Chase, announced in January. While Apple has assured users that core features will remain unchanged, details about the transition are still being finalized over the next 18 months.
Apple Card remains a strong option for those within the Apple ecosystem, offering rewards like 3% Daily Cash on Apple subscriptions and 0% interest financing for Apple hardware purchases. Though other credit cards may offer better rewards outside the ecosystem, Apple Card’s integration with Apple services continues to appeal to its user base.
